A billboard has been unveiled at a Tower Hamlets housing estate famous for being the former home of rappers Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Stryder.

The billboard disclosed on the Bow Cross Estate last week is the result of a 12 month artist-in-residency project by artist Simon Terril,

A highlight of Simon’s residency at the estate, which is undergoing a 100 million regeneration project, included an artistic film produced with the co-operation of Bow Cross residents.

The seven metre long billboard known as ‘Coming / Going’ has been lifted from the film and will adorn a specially created pathway, off Rainhill Way, linking Bow Church DLR station to the Bow Cross Estate.
