The 7 million project to restore the much-loved Bishopsgate Institute in the City of London is now coming to an end after two years of building work.
The institute has expanded its archive, refurbished the Great Hall and opened up a dedicated learning space for its schools and community learning programme.
An official reopening of the Victorian building in Bishopsgate, near Liverpool Street Station, is planned in June with a season of events, free courses and open days.
