YOUNG wannabe stars are in the spotlight in London's deprived East End tonight (Saturday) for Dockland's own 'X Factor' talent show.

They perform a new Bollywood dance piece in Blackwall's Got Talent after a week of dance workshops during school half-term, run by arts charity 'Create'.

Kids of all ages and abilities have been getting lessons from Indian dancer Shalini Bhalla based around a 'Bollywood Musical' theme to develop their performance skills.

The project ends with a glitzy performance at St Matthias Old Church in Poplar High Street at 7pm, in front of VIPs including Government agriculture minister Jim Fitzpatrick, the MP Poplar & Canning Town.
