An investigation has been started after the body of man was found in the street in London’s East End.
An ambulance crew arrived in Bethnal Green Road and found the man in the road in Viaduct Place, a side turning near Weaversfield Park, after a passer-by dialled 999.
But the man was already found to be dead when the crew arrived at 3.20pm, the London Ambulance Service has confirmed.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, hasn’t been formally identified, although the Coroner’s Office at Poplar said this morning that it was believed he lived in the area.
