THE BODY of a man was recovered by boat from a weir on the River Lee by rescue services last night. Up to 25 fire fighters in five engines were sent to help police recover the body from the Three Mills Wall River.
A BODY was recovered by emergency services from a weir on the River Lea in East London last night.
Five emergency fire-crews helped police recover the body from the Three Mills Wall tributary, part of the Bow Back Rivers, at around 10pm.
The fire brigade brought a boat which was lowered into the water to recover the body. A coroner is now looking into the cause his death. It is not believed to be suspicious.
