TOWER Hamlets is the tenth worst London borough for booze related violence, new statistics have revealed.
Westminster tops the table of boozy boroughs where 18 in every 1,000 lagered up bingers commit crimes including assault, rape, burglary and car theft.
Leafy Richmond is at the bottom of the scale with only 6.5 crimes per 1,000 and Tower Hamlets is at number 10 with 14.12.
Neighbouring Newham is in joint fourth position with Greenwich with 16.11 in every people commit alcohol related crimes and Hackney is in sixth position with 15.70.
Tower Hamlets police have said that 30 per cent of the borough' violent crime is committed around the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane where there is a high proportion of bars.
