BORIS Johnson is facing tough questions from the London Assembly this-morning (Thurs) over his draft budget.
The Mayor is being grilled in particular on why he is freezing the precept the GLA takes from local authorities, which would constrict the cash flow into City Hall.
The Assembly’s budget committee is quizzing him on the likely impact on London’s emergency police and fire services as well as the future of the London Development Agency.
Assembly Members also want to know how he is making the case for more cash from the Government.
Boris is in the public spotlight at 10am in the committee’s meeting in The Chamber at City Hall in The Queen’s Walk, by Tower Bridge. The meeting can also be viewed on webcast on the London Assembly’s website.
