Bosses get chance for cash to expand with launch of TowerSkills programme

A programme has been launched today to help small firms in London’s East End get funds to expand.

It has been set up by TowerSkills training and recruitment agency which invited company bosses to its Leading Business Growth Breakfast event this morning at Poplar’s historic George Green’s Building in East India Dock Road, now used as a meeting venue by entrepreneurs across London.

Entrepreneurs were given details of how to apply for the £15 million funding available and had a chance to network with other professionals from the world of commerce.

It included speakers from GrowthAccelerator expansion and management specialists and the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Employers also learned about improving staff skills through programmes in management and personal development, human resources, sales and marketing, based on TowerSkills’s previous experience with the NHS, Telegraph Media, Premier Inn and Land Securities.
