It is ‘time to bounce’ to help Children in Need, schools and clubs are being urged.

Trampoline enthusiasts are being asked to sign up to take part in a 24-hour ‘bounceathon’.

World and European trampoline medallist Laura Gallagher (pictured) is helping the fundraiser organised by Get Britain Bouncing and is calling for clubs, schools and other organisations to take part on November 16—even if it’s just for a few hours.

The bounceathon takes place up and down the country, so to speak, where groups hold their own event and tally up the time bounced by each person taking part.

“There’s no set format,” explained organiser Martin Schofield. “They can be as creative as they like with their bouncing—we’d just like to see people bounce as long as possible.”

Get Britain Bouncing will tally up the hours collectively bounced, collect the money raised and give a certificate to everyone taking part. Details online at www.getbritainbouncing.org.uk or email info@getbritainbouncing.org.uk
