A highway contracting firm has won an award for safety levels on its depot in Bow Common.
Ringway Jacobs was crowned winner of the bronze award at the ‘Considerate Constructors Scheme 2013 Awards’, with special recognition for its safety and for being a ‘good neighbour’ at its site in Bow Common Lane.
Area manager Robbie Handleigh said: “Winning an award is a definite sign of leading the industry to better and higher standards and at Ringway Jacobs we are always looking at how we can continuously improve.”
The industry awards ceremony was held at Plaisterers’ Hall, the Barbican in central London on April 23.
The ‘Considerate Construction Scheme’ aims to improve the image of the construction industry.
