A 4-year-old boy was critically injured in a collision with a car in Bow Common Lane, Mile End yesterday.

Shortly after the first incident at 3.20pm, a 16-year-old boy was seriously hurt in a separate collision just half a mile away.

The younger child was treated for head injuries at the scene at, near the junction with St Paul’s Way, before being taken to the Major Trauma Unit at the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.

The teenager suffered leg injuries after a collision between a car and a motorcycle at 4.45pm. He was taken as a priority to the Royal London Hospital.
