Breaking news: Police advise motorists to avoid Mile End after water mains burst

Police are advising motorists to avoid the Mile End Road area near the junction with Bancroft Road due to a burst water main.

Busy Mile End Road has been closed between Grove road and Whitehorse Road whilst the relevant authorities attend to the problem.
