Trendy art gallery White Cube has just announced its new show of work by influential artist Anselm Kiefer.

The venue in Hoxton Square in Shoreditch will show paintings inspired by a trip to India 15 years ago where he first saw rural brick factories which have inspired his work in the show the Fertile Cresecent.

Kiefer was born in Germany and now lives and works in France.

The sister gallery in Mason's Yard features Kiefer's work show in glass bottles, many of them filled up with thorns from Morocco.

The show opens on October 16 and admission to both venues is free.
