The Fenchurch Street rail network has been named “best commuter service in the country” by Which? consumer magazine.
Its operator, C2C, has also been named Britain’s second-best train franchise company overall in the magazine’s first survey of passenger satisfaction at 91 per cent.
The company has already won the rail industry’s top punctuality record earlier this year for a franchised train operator of almost 97 per cent of trains running on time.
