Rail services from Fenchurch Street have hit a new record with trains running on time, according to latest industry figures.
Trains reached almost 98 per cent punctuality on the Southend service during April, new figures by Network Rail revealed.
The c2c operators beat all other rail companies in Britain and the national average, improving their own record by 1.6 per cent compared to the same time last year.
