Eleven years ago, a man died after collapsing at a bus stop. He has never been identified.
Now police have released an e-fit in a bid to try and find out who he was.
The man, described as white, around 5ft 4ins tall and aged between 50 and 60, had got off a route 15 bus in Regent Street - which at that time was the opposite end of the route to Blackwall station - when he collapsed at around 11am on December 16, 2006.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
However, the man had no ID on him and it is unclear where on the route - which also passes through Poplar, Limehouse and Aldgate - he had got on.
PC Luke Flint said: “This is a very sad case in which not only has a man lost his life close to Christmas, but it is still possible that his family do not know that he has died.”
