The guns sounded at the Tower of London to the Queen’s official birthday on Saturday.

Tourists and passers-by were greeted with a 62-gun salute by the Hon Artillery Company, 21 guns to the Royal salute, 21 for the Tower of London as a Royal palace and 20 for the City of London.

They were fired at 1pm as part of the annual salute to the Monarch, now in her 60th year of reign.

It was a busy two days for the artillery, following another 62-gun salute at The Tower the day before—this time for the Duke of Edinburgh’s 90th birthday.
