A three-day trade promotion begins today in Canary Wharf to mark 35 years of Cathay Pacific flights to Hong Kong from Heathrow.

The promotion outside Canary Wharf Underground station from 9am till 5.30pm today and tomorrow and 9am-3pm Thursday is publicising three cabin classes to compare for potential customers, including the business traveller, setting Business, Premium and Economy seats side-by-side.

“This is an important year for the airline flying from London to Hong Kong,” its UK & Europe general manager Angus Barclay said. “The philosophy we’ve shared for almost 70 years is that the trip becomes more memorable if you travel well.”

The carrier flies out from Heathrow five times a day to Hong Kong. It has 190 destinations globally, including Australia and 22 in China.
