CELEBRITIES will give up their warm beds tonight for a sleep-out at an East End market in support of homeless people.

Stars expected to curl up in their sleeping bags on the cold floor of Old Spitalfields Market include radio DJ Sarah Cox, TV's 'Loose Women' presenter Lisa Maxwell, actor Joe McFadden, best known for playing PC Joe Mason in ITV's police drama Heartbeat and his Heartbeat co-star Niamh Cusack who plays doctor Kate Rowan.

The celebrities are expected to start arriving at 6pm this evening for the sleep-out.

The event for the charity Centrepoint is aimed at raising awareness for the estimated 75,000 young people experiencing homelessness every year.
