Commuters are facing disruption on the Central and District lines this evening due to two separate signal failures.

The Central line has no service between Woodford and Hainault, and minor delays between Leytonstone and Epping, due to a signal failure at Woodford.

The District line has severe delays along the whole route following a signal failure at Richmond.

Passengers are being advised to use an alternative route if possible.

Meanwhile, a major track fault at Liverpool Street earlier today is affecting Greater Anglia services, with TfL Rail services likely to be busier as a result during the evening rush hour.
