Central Line commuters in Tower Hamlets are still facing disrupted journeys this afternoon after two million litres of water flooded the train line near Bow.
Water from a ruptured Thames Water pipe in Wick Line cascaded into the train tunnel yesterday covering a distance of 800 meters halting services and forcing people to abandon trains and stand in long queues for replacement buses.
There is still no service between Leytonstone and Bethnal Green with minor delays on the rest of the line.
Rail replacement bus services operate in both directions between Stratford and Leytonstone via Leyton and valid tickets are being accepted on local buses and Greater Anglia via any reasonable route.
