CHARITY workers have dialled the right number to get a £3,600 cash windfall this week from the Vodaphone Foundation.

The Centrepoint charity has received a grant to boost its work helping homeless youngsters in London’s East End back on their feet.

Charities across London have put in bids for funding to Vodafone stores which are then considered by the foundation’s trustees to make sure donations would make a difference to the lives of young people in the area.

The Centrepoint charity in Aldgate rang the right bell with its programme offering destitute youngsters safe accommodation as well as tackling issues that led them to be homeless with counselling, education programmes, life skills such as cooking and budgeting, and a chance to get jobs.
