A project bringing together 50 of Tower Hamlets’ most deprived children with 50 artists has been launched to raise awareness of child poverty.
The Miracles charity, which aims to help people in poverty and despair, is commissioning portraits throughout the year ahead of an exhibition in December.
The charity is now appealing for children and artists to come forward and get involved in the scheme, which it hopes will raise more than £500,000 in sponsorship.
Organisers are calling for 50 companies to come forward to complete the symmetry of the project.
To get involved in the project, contact its director James Burton on burton.james@me.com or 07545174243.
