Travellers including sight-seers visiting the buildings which have thrown open their doors as part of the popular Open House weekend are being urged to check before they travel.
Engineering work will affect services in the East End with the Hammersmith and City and District lines shut between Whitechapel and Barking all weekend.
Replacement bus services will run instead.
The East London line is closed until next summer.
And on Sunday the Docklands Light Railway is suspended between Stratford and Bow Church with a bus replacement service running between Stratford, Pudding Mill Lane and Bow Church.
