A fun day at the Idea Store in Chrisp Street, Poplar proved to be the best way to mark the end of Black History Month on October 30.
Children enjoyed creating and applying their own henna and face painting designs, including colourful butterfly and tiger patterns throughout the day.
They also made animal balloons and took part in dance classes to mark a month of history activities.
The Idea Store held African mask and print-making lessons, hip-hop workshops and seminars on the East India Company since the start of October.
