FINANCE employees reached new heights by abseiling down a tower to raise cash for charity.

Nathalie St Clair, 33, who works for Canary Wharf city firm Clifford Chance braved the 469ft drop at Guy’s Hospital Tower, in London Bridge, over the weekend.

The plucky worker, along with seven other colleagues, has been raising money for a new lifeboat for the River Thames.

Kitted out in her abseiling gear, Ms St Clair beamed and waved as she made her daunting descent.

Charity the Royal National Lifeboat Institution carries out lifesaving work on the waterway and is always in need of extra fleets.

The Clifford Chance team, who have called themselves Brawn to Win, are hoping to raise £10,000 for the cause.

They will be collecting donations until November 1.
