Photographer Colin O’Brien’s exhibition of snapshots he’s been taking in the streets of east London since he was eight finishes its run at Spitalfields Church on Sunday.
He has been capturing images over the past 60 years. The exhibition in the crypt of Christ Church in Commercial Street includes shots of fly-pitchers (like the one pictured) pushed together on a narrow pavement in Bethnal Green who dodge market inspectors trying to move them on. Last two days of Brien’s exhibition are Saturday and Sunday, 1pm-6pm.
