POLICE are appealing for witnesses after man was robbed at knifepoint by a gang who stole his laptop

The 49-year-old man was waiting for the number 25 bus by Bow Church in Bow Road around 9.20pm on Thursday evening when four youths approached him wielding a knife.

The four youths, who are described as black and aged 16-20, surrounded the man before snatching his laptop bag and running off.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact DC Pete MiCallef in the robbery squad on 020 8217 3838 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
