DAVID Cameron pledged to give more power to community groups when he dropped into an East End estate yesterday.

The Conservative leader said that a Tory government would spend cash on training-up more adults to help them improve their own neighbourhoods when he visited the Ocean Estate in Stepney.

The estate is currently undergoing a major re-vamp as part of a �200 million regeneration programme.

And Mr Cameron told community activists on the estate he wanted to "give power to neighbourhood groups and boost social action".
