DAVID Cameron pledged to give more power to community groups when he dropped into an East End estate yesterday.
The Conservative leader said that a Tory government would spend cash on training-up more adults to help them improve their own neighbourhoods when he visited the Ocean Estate in Stepney.
The estate is currently undergoing a major re-vamp as part of a 200 million regeneration programme.
And Mr Cameron told community activists on the estate he wanted to "give power to neighbourhood groups and boost social action".
"We're going to give communities the chance to take control", he added.
