CHRISTMAS revellers are being warned to make sure they’re not over the alcohol limit the morning after a party if they intend getting behind the driving wheel.
They should also think twice before knocking back lunchtime booze if they’re motoring home in the evening, the Metropolitan Police warned this week.
Special patrols have begun carrying out kerbside tests as the office party season’ gets under way to see if motorists have knocked back one for the road.’ The patrols are operating across London throughout December, drivers are being advised.
Anyone failing the breath test faces arrest and driving ban, Scotland Yard officials warned at Tuesday’s launch of London’s annual drink-drive campaign.
