POLICE are issuing warnings to motorcyclists after a spate of motorbike thefts at a Spitalfields car park.
Six bikes have been lifted from Whites Row car park and the surrounding streets over the past two weeks, as well as helmet boxes.
Tower Hamlets Motor Vehicle Crime Squad and Motor Vehicle Focus Desk are looking at strategies and are working with the City of London Police to reduce the number of thefts.
They have also issued crime prevention advice to motorcyclists who leave their bikes unattended:
Chain and anchor motorcycle to a secure fixed point with the chain suspended off the ground.
Use disc looks and security devices to deter thieves.
Take Top boxes and crash helmets with you.
