Residents celebrated the regeneration of the Coventry Cross estate in Poplar with a fun day held last week.
The day’s celebrations attracted both children and adults keen to mark the multi-million improvements to the estate which have been made.
Poplar Harca, the housing association which owns Coventry Cross, aimed to improve the estate’s environment and security.
Neal Hunt, Poplar Harca’s director of development, said: “It is fantastic to see the vast difference that has been achieved to the buildings and personally for the residents.
“We strive to deliver homes and neighbourhoods that are healthy, vibrant and sustainable and this has been achieved at Coventry Cross.”
