Archant

Cricketing legend Ian Botham attempted to be less Beefy, more feathery as got his skates on for a fundraising event at an East End ice rink.

The England champ was at Canary Wharf Ice Rink to meet and greet families and charity supporters in a quest to raise cash for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research last night.

A cut of the proceeds made from online ticket sales and at the Moose ringside café will go towards the blood charity and the sports star’s own Great British Walk fundraiser.
