A TEENAGE boy is in hospital after being stabbed in the leg in Bethnal Green yesterday evening.

One witness said bloody footprints mark the route the boy took from Globe Road, across Old Ford Road and into Approach Road, where he was seen collapsed outside the Approach pub.

Ambulances and police cars arrived at the scene around 6pm and the boy, believed to be in his mid-teens, was taken by ambulance to hospital where he is being treated for a stab wound to the leg.

A police spokesman said no arrests have been made.
