A teenage boy accused of stabbing a 16-year-old in Bromley-by-Bow has appeared in court.
The 15-year-old from Tower Hamlets, who cannot be named for legal reasons, yesterday pleaded not guilty to grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and possessing a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place.
At Stratford Youth Court he was remanded in youth detention to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on May 1.
He was one of four young boys charged after the attack in St Leonard’s Street early Sunday evening, which left the victim in hospital in a stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
The three others – two 16-year-olds and one aged 15 – were also due to appear at court yesterday.
All face one count of GBH with intent, with the 15-year-old charged with possessing a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place as well.
Stratford Youth Court said “no result” was logged for the trio at present.
