Police officers carry out dawn raids in Tower Hamlets

Dawn police raids led to three men and a youth being charged with drug offences last week.

Seven properties across Tower Hamlets were targeted in a police operation carried out in partnership with the council.

Police made the arrests on the morning of Wednesday, April 24.

Shaun Phipps, 30, of Whitechapel Road, was charged with supply of a Class A drug; Ojudal Miah, 29, of Joseph Street, Bow Common, was charged with supply of cannabis; Kamran Hussain, 26, of Kent was charged with supply of cannabis; and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with supply of cannabis.
