The jury deciding the fate of the brother of former EastEnders actress Gemma McCluskie is expected to start deliberating this afternoon.

Tony McCluskie, aged 35, who shared a flat with the 29 year-old actress in Pelter Street, Bethnal Green, is standing trial for her murder.

The window cleaner insists he cannot recall attacking Gemma before cutting up her body into six pieces and dumping them in a canal.

He admits manslaughter but denies murder.
