London Avalon club shooting victim named as Hassan Mohammed Isman

A man shot dead at Avalon nightclub in the West End on Boxing Day has been named by police as 31-year-old Hassan Isman Omer, from Poplar.
Hassan, also known as Big H, was shot multiple times at the Christmas event. A post mortem is scheduled to take place today.
The incident happened at the Circle Christmas Day: 7th Birthday Party event on December 25, which went on until Boxing Day.
Crowds ran from the venue after gunshots were fired just after 3am. Clothing covered in blood was found outside the club.
Shocked clubbers and DJs took to Twitter to pay their respects.
The night had several DJs from Rinse FM, London’s underground radio station which plays grime and dubstep.
Tippa, one of the DJs on the line-up tweeted on Boxing Day: “Don’t matter how nice the ting is, only takes 1 fool. RIP x”

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder as part of a police investigation into the shooting. Both men, aged 31 and 34, have since been bailed pending inquiries.
