A man has been charged tonight with the murder of a woman at an address in Bow.

Mohammed Anhar Ali, a 32-year-old from Blake Avenue in Barking, is accused of killing 25-year-old Nazia Ali.

He appears in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court in the morning.

The charge follows the discovery this morning of a woman’s body at an address in Ellesmere Road, near Victoria Park. A post-mortem examination takes place on Wednesday.

Detectives from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command say they’re not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation.
