Hundreds of packagages of heroin and cocaine were seized in dawn raids in Tower Hamlets this week, leading to nine people being charged with drug-related offences.

Wednesday’s raids saw around 100 officers carry out raids on 11 addresses, at which more than 400 wraps of heroin and cocaine were discovered.

Two of those arrested were youths, who have both now been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine.
