Police appeal for witnesses after attempted kidnapping on Isle of Dogs

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 17-year-old girl was dragged into a car on the Isle of Dogs, before managing to escape.

The victim was walking towards Marsh Wall when she was pulled into a silver car which was parked on the corner of Manila Street.

After being driven along West Ferry Road, she escaped from the vehicle at Mud Chute Farm.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned, 6’04” tall, thin build man aged between 20-25 years with a local accent. He was wearing a grey long sleeved top.

Police are Appealing for any witnesses who may be able to assist with information regarding this incident to contact CID at Limehouse police station on 0207 2754546.
