Police appeal for witnesses to Limehouse robbery

A MAN was set upon by a gang of five men who stole cash, his mobile phone and wallet as he made his way home in Limehouse.
The 41-year-old was attacked at 11.30pm on Bonfire Night as he was approached by a group of men in Wakeling Street.
As he passed the men he was shoulder barged by one of them who is described as 22 to 25 years-old.
The man had shaven hair on the sides with longer hair on the top and a large nose and was wearing a dark coloured padded jacket and dark coloured bottoms.
The victim carried on walking but was then approached from behind and the group began punching and kicking him.
He fell to the floor and felt someone going through his pockets before the gang all ran off towards Commercial Road.
He suffered pain to his chest and jaw and had a mobile phone, wallet and cash stolen in the incident.
The gang of men are all described as Asian aged between 22 and 25, 5 foot 7 inches tall and with dark coloured hair and wearing dark clothing.
