Three men and a teenage boy were arrested today (Thursday) by detectives investigating a serious assault in Bow, which put two men in hospital.

The men were attacked on September 17, in William Guy Gardens at about 9.30pm, and required hospital treatment for their injuries.

Two men were charged in connection with the incident and have been bailed to appear at a crown court in December. But a further four arrests were made at separate homes across east London earlier.

The men, aged 27, 29, and 31, and a 16-year-old youth, were taken into custody on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Searches were also carried out at five separate residential addresses in east London.

Officers still want to speak to anyone who was in William Guy Gardens, or nearby Talwin Street, when the assault took place.

Anyone with information should contact the incident room on 020 7230 3068 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
