Two moped riding thieves spend an entire day robbing people in Tower Hamlets

Police in Tower Hamlets are appealing for witnesses or possible victims following a string of moped robberies around the borough yesterday.

Detectives believe two people riding a distinctive red moped stole mobile phones and cash throughout the day in and around Cambridge Heath Road, Mile End Road and Bow Church from 11am.

Officers have made two arrests and are keen for anyone with information to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
