A woman who allegedly hurled racist abuse on the London Underground has denied the claims.

Claire Moloney, 40, is charged with a racially aggravated public order offence after footage of an apparent racist rant on a District line train between Stepney Green and Mile End stations appeared on YouTube in April.

Moloney, of Western Avenue in Dagenham, appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday and was released on bail to appear at Blackfriars Crown Court on June 19.
