A woman was sexually assaulted in a lift on a Whitechapel estate, and now police have released this e-fit of the suspect in an attempt to track him down.

The attack happened in a lift in Bloomfield House, Old Montague Street, on October 7 at about 8.50pm.

Det Con Carla Goymer-Ellice, who is in charge of the investigation, said: “We take all sexual assaults very seriously and are following a number of lines of enquiry.

“We have now reached the stage of the investigation where it is appropriate to release a e-fit of the suspect.”
