Police are appealing for information after a woman was subjected to a sexual assault.
Officers have issued a CCTV image after a man exposed himself sexually to a woman in Cabot Place, Poplar, before sexually assaulting her between 12.40 and 1.20pm on Friday, December 16.
He is described as about 6ft tall, slim, dark-haired and of Asian appearance, and wore a white shirt, dark suit trousers, a light-coloured jacket and trainers. He was also carrying a dark rucksack.
Anyone who recognises the man shown in the image or who has information that could assist the investigation should contact Tower Hamlets police via 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
