A cannabis farm containing drugs and growing technology with a street value of around £10,000 has been shut down after a police raid.
Two people were arrested on suspicion of producing a controlled substance and abstracting electricity after officers found 46 cannabis plants in Manchester Grove on the Isle of Dogs.
Det Insp Henry Akhigbe said: “Cannabis factories such as this don’t only fund organised crime but can also lead to anti social behaviour from the end user often with serious consequences.”
The raid was carried out by a task force from Bethnal Green police station last Monday (July 29).
PC Haque, promised other people growing cannabis in Tower Hamlets: “We’ll be seeing you soon.”
