A drug dealer caught with more than £800,000 worth of cocaine has been sentenced to almost seven years in prison.
Danny Lowe was arrested after a raid on an address in Cornwall Avenue, Bethnal Green in November uncovered almost three kilograms of cocaine.
The 36-year-old pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply after officers had caught him in the process of mixing, pressing and packaging the 2.65kg hoard.
He was sentenced to six years and nine months in prison at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday.
Acting Det Insp said: “The arrest and conviction of Lowe serves to show that the Metropolitan Police will not tolerate the distribution of Class A drugs which has such a harmful effect on London’s communities.”
