A 15-year-old schoolboy arrested at his home in east London in June is due in court later this month accused of “encouraging terrorism”.
He appears before Westminster Magistrates on November 21 charged with encouraging, preparing or instigating acts of terrorism, after an investigation by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
The teenager returned on police bail yesterday and was charged under the 2006 Terrorism Act, Scotland Yard confirmed last night.
Prevent officers have been providing support to his family during the investigation.
